guinness, a pure black german shepherd, loves to eat anything and everything.  he'll let others, like darby, (the chesapeake bay retriever pictured), do all of the work. then, when nobody is looking...  or even if  they are ... he'll run off with the item of interest... fruit, socks, shoes...  it really doesn't matter.  if it is missing, odds are guinness took it.  good luck getting it back in one piece.
